The goal of this program is to provide direct care in a 1:1 ratio to individuals who are intellectually and developmentally disabled in a home or community setting. This is to secure their health and welfare by helping these individuals acquire, maintain, and even improve their self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills.
We recognize how important it is for some people to maintain their independence as they grow older and despite of the condition and situation they are in. That is why we have provided this service. Through this service, we provide an opportunity for them to explore day activities according to their own preference and focusing on becoming active members of the community.
This service includes:
- Assistance in general areas of self-care
- Communication
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Mobility
- Therapeutic activities
- Use of community sources
- And much more
